Magnadyne radio trouble shooting hint

If your Magnadyne dash radio doesn’t operate properly with the bezel controls but does work when using one of the remote controls or some of the bezel controls appear inoperative try the following:
Pull the radio out about an inch or two using your radio removal tool.
On each side remove the 3 small Philips screws which attach the bezel of the radio to the main radio body. The only connection between the radio and all the controls on the bezel is a ¾ inch ribbon connector with a plug going into the radio. Carefully wiggle this connector to reestablish connectivity with the main radio unit.
I’ve had to do this twice over the 3 plus years I’ve had this rig and it’s worked both times. The ribbon connector just doesn’t seem to stand up to long cold storage periods

Thanks for the tip. I've run into this issue before and tried a few things that didn't work.
