Metal stairway trim & linoleum issue

Discovered a minor problem recently with the linoleum flooring in my motorhome. It's pulled out from under some metal trim at my stair entryway. Probably was cut just a little short and with age and shrinkage, has now pulled out from under the trim. I could get it back under the trim by heating up the linoleum a little and using a putty knife, but would rather do a better repair by removing or pulling back the metal trim first. I ran my hand around the carpet below the metal trim but didn't feel any fasteners.

Anyone familiar with this trim and how to remove it to gain access to the flooring material under it?

Thank-you. -RT

RTegarini , I think the screws holding the trim on are under the edge of the carpet.

Motorhome is now at the local Workhorse Chassis dealer, having the Onan generator checked out. (Fault Code 27 / shuts down if you turn on the 30 amp breaker) When I get it back, I'll take a better look at the carpet area. It does seem that since it's metal trim, screws would have been used to mount it to the flooring rather than just gluing it in place.

Thank-you. -RT

The metal strip may have been manufactured with nails attached underneath. It would then be hammered in place with a flat board on top to insure even application without bending the strip. Some upholstery anchoring supplies are made like that.
