Got home tonight from our Thanksgiving trip, 650 miles round trip to the Oregon Coast. Great time, Coach did great as always.

However, on the way home the driver side mirror glass started flipping around a bit like it wasn't locked in place. I used the adjusters and figured out the motor was running from time to time without me adjusting them and thus causing the glass to adjust all the way out, then in or up.

It didn't do it the whole time, it would stop and I could adjust them. Then it would happen again.

Any ideas where to start in tracking down the problem? Though the problem was with the driver side, the passenger side didn't seem to adjust. So I'm thinking I may have a faulty switch.

TIA.

There is a set screw that needs an allen wrench to tighten. It is under the mirror. It has happen to me a couple of times driving in a strong wind.

Yea, what Dave said. I had to use locktight on mine. No matter how much I tighten the screw it would always back out and the mirror would start to turn.
