New to this Forum - I bought 2012 Itasca Navion 24J

Moved down from the class A gasser to this sweet (I hope) little diesel.

Hated to part with the National, but DW would not drive it, so I decided to go down to something she says she will drive. We found a nice 2012 Itasca Navion and really like it so far (1 week). First surprise came in the form of a check engine light, and $2,600 later we have a new DEF tank! Apparently the DEF heater went bad and they say the new tank is an upgrade by Bosch and is more reliable than the old. Thankfully, the "ink wasn't dry" on the sale and the prior owner paid the tab for that. Will pick up later today and do some test driving to be sure the CEL does not repeat.

Looking forward to some good exchanges of ideas here with all you View/Navion owners. Our first excercise was to see how much stuff from a 36 foot MH will fit in a 24 foot MH......short answer, about 1/2!!

I would weigh your coach. There is room for stuff but the OCCC is not very large. I wish you safe travels. I have a VG and love it. I did have to spend a lot of time and money to get it right.
My advice is alinement after you weigh it. Fox rear shocks, Hellwig sway bar, Sumo springs, for the rear. Koni red up front. Borg tire valves, then TPMS are some of my upgrades, Tire pressure after weigh in should be changed. 61 is too high 52 front and 56 rear would be closer, but weigh it.
