Norcold refrigerator error message 0PL1

Help! Our 2006 nor cold for door refrigerator has an error message that the company says means open circuit high temperature limit switch. This started out of nowhere and is beeping and we're wondering if there's a way we can troubleshoot it if anybody has had similar problems if there's a way to restart it. for liability reasons nor cold will not tell us anything except to turn it off and take it in. We are living in it currently and have a full fridge and freezer.

Hardy,

Helping you troubleshoot your problem would be better if you had posted your Error Code correctly.

The Error Code is L1 oP.

HERE is the Service Manual for your model. Page 27 & 28 describes the reason for your fault code, troubleshooting steps and how to fix it.

Google L1 oP and you will have many hits where you can read others that have had the same error code.

You most likely will need to have it serviced UNLESS you have a "re-settable Switch".
