O2 sensors
Hello Folks from over the pond,
I need to replace the O2 sensors on my 2005 Voyage with 8.1 vortec engine,
Gm sensors part 12572706 does not cross reference with anything I can find,
Some other 8.1 vortecs have numbers 12572705, 1257207.
My question is are any of these interchangeable, as they only adjust fuel ratios,
Is 12572706 a number generated just for Winnebago ?
Can anyone recommend sensors and suppliers, keeping in mind they would have to ship to UK.
Thanks in advance
Regards
John

You could post over in the Workhorse chassis forum http://www.irv2.com/forums/f22/
Gm sensors part 12572706 is NOT a Winnie part #
http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oe-gm/12572706 Looks like they ship overseas
Here is one on Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-12572...+part+12572706
Also here is one from Ultra RV, a site sponsor, Jon could also answer your questions, very knowledgeable

UKWinnie,
Advise to Try cleaning your o2 sensors with MAF (mass airflow sensor) cleaner before replacing them.

o2 sensors
Thank you very much for all your information and help
I am going to try clean them with MAF cleaner and see where we go from there
"Winnie" is a 2005 Voyage with 28000 miles on the clock. Has history of just
passing emissions test the last two years. its got a Propane gas conversion,
which creates a lot of water in the exhaust, I had the Lambda checked on
Petrol and LPG both spot on, so the consensus was that the cats didnt get hot
enough to dry them out, unless I thrash it down the motorway on petrol, and
that negates the saving by running on LPG, I replaced the Cats (from Summit)
they get hot!! so my thoughts were to replace the o2 sensors, but I shall try
cleaning them. Thank you once again for all your help.
Now to stretch our relationship more! "It never rains but it pours" I went to
bring lounge (2 motors) in and no go Handbrake warning light flashing, used
override to get it in. arrived on site and it wont slide out handbrake warning
light flashing, no green light code, had a quick check for loose connections,
pulled plugs on controler and reinserted them , room moved 3 inches then
stopped, would not move at all override to get it in again, rear slide works ok
no brake light flashing on that, which would suggest its not the Handbrake
Any thought my friends?
Regards
John
PS sorry for the long Missive
