OEM vs aftermarket skylight cover? 2004 24V

I'm looking to replace a cracked rear skylight on my 2004 24V Minnie Winnie. I had it at a shop and they quoted me $800 for just the part!

I've been looking at aftermarket options but having trouble finding one the right size. Such is life with aftermarket... i measure the bubble at 17"x27.5". eztops sells one that is close for about $150 but they are warning me it likely won't fit because of the interior bubble being square-ish and theirs being oval.

Wondering what solutions/sources other have come up with?

Suggest removing the dome, taking measurements of the opening and outside flanges then buying one that closely matches but large enough to be mounted so it is watertight.

I was very pleased with the ICON aftermarket replacement skylight on our coach. They have a huge assortment/selection, square, rectangular, oval, neo angle, you name it. And much higher quality and thickness compared to the originals used. I have since replaced both A/C shrouds with the ICON brand also. Again, perfect fit and better quality.
Measure twice, order once.

I bought an exact replacement skylight from these guys a few years ago >>> https://winnebagoparts.com/

It was in stock. They seem to know their business.

Make sure you use nonpetroleum based sealant. Most skylight cracks are caused by adding standard roof sealant to the skylight.

Called them this morning and the part is out of stock on backorder with no estimate for when they would be available. its also $654 + shipping.

In the meantime I just have a plastic bag taped over the skylight to give some protection, is there a better solution?

I may just order something oversized from somewhere else. Icon doesn't seem to have a great fit option but ill check around.

Since you plan to replace the cracked skylight, why not place a piece of Eternabond over the crack in the meantime?

There’s quite a web of small cracks and some bigger ones but if I can’t get the new one in time then they seems like a great option. Thanks
