Ordering and Best Dealer???

While researching for a possible upgrade I have made a list of prospected dealers for some other brands. Some I can order directly from and some I cannot.

Are there any particular dealers that will give consistent better deals than others?

Also what is the ordering procedure for an Adventurer if you could actually order one instead of buying whatever is on the lots?

It is a bit of a drive for you but we bought our 5er from Dandy RV (Anniston/Birmingham, AL) Absolutely top notch sales and the best after sale service and support I have seen in 15+ years of RVing!

Any good Winnie dealers out there to deal with? I don't think CW would give a good deal.

Lewis RV in Dayton, OH took great care of us and delivered a motorhome with ZERO flaws! I had a year to shop and they not only gave me the best price, by far, but they took great care of everything we asked of them. We were a hard sale because my family and I were returning from a long stint overseas and needed lots of help to get ready for our first trip... the day we picked it up started a two-month road trip! No issues at all.

When I bought my Itasca 24G I obtained the price list from the dealer and ran a spreadsheet indicating what I wanted that was mandatory and also those items that were preferable. A number of RV dealers gave the following answers:

A. We cannot order anything for you.
B. We can tell you what we have coming in.
C. We will order what you want.

The basic model I wanted was widely available within 500 miles. But... the EXACT model with the desired accessories was found only in Iowa. Lichtsinn was the best in this regard. Even though they are 1000 miles from me this is where I bought my Itasca. We had planned to visit Mall of America at some time, and this dovetailed with the plans to pick up the RV.

When we got to Forest City we had already purchased several items to use in the RV from stores at Mall of America, which was extremely convenient. They easily beat the offers of the dealers within 500 miles of here.

I guess I should have clarified that Lewis RV ordered our motorhome from the factory with exactly what we wanted. We asked them tons of questions about the options and I have to admit that between our studying, getting answers here in the forum, and the help from Lewis RV we haven't regretted our decisions at all. Lewis RV will order what you want (took about 3 months from order to delivery). As far as offering consistently great service, I can't respond since we are still on our first motorhome but their help ensured that we didn't get the itch to continue trading and changing that some of my friends went through... that ultimately saved me tons of money by being happy with our purchase. We actually ordered a bunch of supplies over the internet and had them delivered to the dealership to hold for us. Needless to say, we were a pain to deal with but were met with a smile and couldn't have been happier. Good luck in your hunt!
