Has anyone had this problem? Occasionally when walking beside my unit I could hear music, I discovered that the outdoor entertainment radio had turned itself on. I would turn it off and perhaps a few days later I would agin find it on. This is not a major issue while plugged in however it would be a problem while dry camping. I really don't want to disconnect the power on the rear of the radio.

Several of us have had that problem. Mine was replaced last year under warranty. The replacement radio was a different brand than the original. I cant remember what brand it is. But I presume Winne had a problem with the original radios they were using around the time yours and mine was built.

Well now, I thought I was just fogetting to turn mine off. Mine is a Sony and at times, I open the door and the backlight is on. No music but just the lighting. I keep mine connected to shore power so no real dilemma.

Mine turned on a couple of times the first year, but if it is still doing it, it must be shutting itself off also, as I haven't heard it since then. It is a Jensen radio.

I turned mine on by accident by hitting the remote control for it when I was digging thru the box full of remotes.
Luckily the volume was up loud enough that I heard it and didnt end up with dead batteries.

Like others, mine also mysteriously came on by itself. For some reason, it hasn't for that last couple of years.

I find that everytime I shut off the main 12 Volt power, my radio would come on and that is only time it turns itself on. I just have to memember to turn it off.

Mine did the same thing and run the engine batteries down flat. Both radios in my Journey are really little more than junk. Whoever placed the sound switch in the passenger side overhead cabinet must have had his head up his shirtsleeve since when travelling alone there is no way to turn on the radio sound unless you stop or remember to switch if from TV to radio before starting out. Why didn't they place the switch within easy reach of the driver?
