Today I looked into the sewer hose storage tube inside the water service compartment of my Ultimate Advantage to see if it needed to be rinsed out, and discovered that the cap on the other end is off ...I can see it, but it is not attached. Then I discovered the tube itself is loose ...two screws on the outside end are missing, no doubt from service last winter to replace a bad dump valve. However, even being loose it will not come all the way out as the flange on the other end is too large to come through the hole in the metal access panels in the compartment. Looking under the coach, I found there are sheet metal panels between two rails running lengthwise along the center of the coach. One panel is down a little on one corner where it is not properly inserted between two metal frame members, again I suspect from the service last winter. The area above the panel does not appear to be very deep in most areas ... this is not the floor of the compartments above. What I am wondering is that if I remove the panel under the hose storage tube, will I have access to that area? Can anyone perhaps answer that question?
(I am also wondering, with the interior cap off the tube, if liquid drips out of the other end of the storage tube, where does it go?) If no one can fill me in, I guess I'll call Owner Relations on Tuesday.
