Parked Regen

Our unit does not have a dash switch to do a parked regen, if ever needed I'll have to disconnect an electrical plug under the dash to do it and it'll take a contortionist to do it. Does anyone with a Winnebago product have a "REGEN SWITCH" on their dash and if so is it a standard Winnebago rocker switch label REGEN? If the company did use them I could wire it into an empty slot on the dash with other switches.

I do not either. But in almost 29K all I've had to do is add DEF.

I do not believe you will find any DP RVs have a Regen switch. A regen would only be required if you sat at idle for an extended period. That is why you will find that switch in OTR trucks. Traveling down the road at a typical speed is the way the regen cycle will normally occur in an RV. That regen cycle is happening without you even knowing about it.

Navy Flier, yes I realize this, but I've read numerous threads where MH owners have had to stop and do parked REGEN's, and with the location of the plug I'd have to undo for a parked REGEN in a few years it could be almost impossible for me to contort myself into a position to undo the plug.

Well, since I have not see any of the referenced thread over the last several years I cannot comment on them but the obvious solution to the problems is to avoid a long idle incident or find a diesel mechanic who is more flexible than you.

I concur, three diesel motorhomes since 2005 all kinds of traffic, close to 90,000 miles total and never had to do a "Parked" Regen. How does that even come up? Is there a dash light that comes on or what??
