Passenger Slide Out Leak

We seem to have a leak in the passenger side slide out. Now, we are from Florida and have afternoon thunder-boomers, but have yet to notice a leak. The other day while at a county campground getting our feet under us as NewBe's, we closed the slide out and the the next day noticed a wet line along the carpet where the slide out is while closed.
I have yet to check the seal under the "awning" over it, but would love to hear some feed back from anyone with similiar issues.
Thanks

Chris & Marily

If you have a leak you will see it, you might had some water left on the slide then closed it up. It all won't come off with the wipe seal

I've noticed the same thing. As I bring the slide in, the topper tends to hold a bit of rain water as it rolls up. This eventually seeps onto the slide roof, down the slide wall and onto the carpet.

I had a leak on my street side slide, only when it was closed. It turned out to be bad "D" shapped seals. Looks like a double D. I replaced about 50' worth on the three slides. No more leaks. Easy fix but Winnie gets a pritty price per foot although eacy foot is two peaces of seal.

I suggest you open your slides and check them. Only takes a small area of a seal bad to get a leak.

Good luck.
