Polish or replace rear brake lenses?

Rectangular brake light lenses for my 2016 Winnebago Minnie Winnie 22r.
Seem to be a bit faded
1) Polish recommended?

2) Replacement lenses found, Amazon by chance?

Ours were so sun faded I replaced them. Easily found on the internet.
Same part number as the originals. An exact fit. They came with new bulbs, gaskets, etc.

Try etrailer.com

I polished ours. Looked good for 2 months, now faded again. I think you need to clear coat over them for uv protection.

I have also polished headlights. Coated with sealant. Look like crap in a couple months.

If anyone has found a long term solution, Iíd love to hear it.

Poiish.........NOVUS 7100 Plastic Polish Kit https://www.amazon.com/Novus-7100-Pl...58047983&psc=1. Use it all the time on acrylic boat windows and lens.

Replace lens..........might be cheaper and less work.

The part# is made into the lens. For not much more money I bought LED replacement brake light fixtures through Amazon, and they are at least twice as bright.

I used a 6" buffer from HFT with a microfiber bonnet, used Meguirs PlasticX cleaner to buff the rear lenses and then applied 303 cleaner-sealer.

Looks pretty darn good!

Get the DOT number off the lense or housing and search for that.
