While getting my propane tank filled on my 04 Brave 36M I discovered the front of the tank was loose. The entire box that the tank bolts on was broken of at the front end. I sent photos of the break to Winnebago and they wanted me to get a estimate to weld the broken end. WI agreed to pay for the repair. Had a serviceman at the RV park unbolt and drop the tank and weld on the broken piece, The problem is the tank has one flange on the rear that bolts on and the other flange in the center of the tank, putting almost all of the weight on the front mount, bad engineering. If you have a 36 M check the tank before it falls off,

Hey 52- That was a good post. Interesting that there was a propane tank mounting recall for the early '04 models. The fix was the addition of two very heavy straps to the frame. My tank was not on the list because it was a later '04.

This is a good reminder to check the propane tanks.
