Pulling the wheels and LCI leveling system question.

I'm so tired of spending 3hrs polishing the wheels on our 42E before each and every trip out so my question is this, I was parked next to a 42 Tour QD a cpl of wks ago and his wheels were black. They looked awesome with his paint scheme. He said that he pulled the wheels and left the coach on the front jacks for the few days while he was getting his Alcoa wheels powder coated. I picked his brain about it for a cpl of days and I want to get ours done as well. He said he had zero issues and he also asked a few people with mixed answers but he did it anyway without a problem. What are you guys thoughts about it? It will only be the front because the rear will still have the inner steel wheels and tires on. I'm just so tired of busting my balls trying to keep the wheels shiny and our coach is 75% black and I feel with our paint scheme our wheels will look great black too. Thanks everyone.

The manual in most cases says don't do it. Of course that is a liability issue. While I do not have a MH, my TH often spends a week with one set of wheels off the ground when camping in un-level sites........

I also have no concern using the jacks to do wheel/tire/hub maintenance. I do try and keep one side on the ground at all times, but that is my preference. I have a 17k rig and the 6 point system I have is rated for 30k.

Last but not least, if you are worried about it, use the jacks to lift the rig and then use appropriate blocks/jack stands to support the rig.
