Itaska Navion iQ
Hi. I had three questions for owners of the View 24G and hope you can help me.
1. The rear slide has a bed. How do you like the bed? Is it awkward to slide the bed in - meaning, do you have to undo the bedding (sheets, etc.) to get the bed to slide in? How does it sleep with the break in the mattress?
2. How do you access the outside storage from the inside of the RV? All the brochures mention you can, but I can't see where it is and the dealer was not helpful. We saw hinges on the end of the bed, but that was all.
3. How does the furnace heat the the unit? Is it loud? Is there a furnace or just a heat pump?

We have an Itaska Navion iQ which has the same set up as the View.
1.We usually just move the pillows from the head of the bed and fold the "top" end of the bed, covers and sheets, over. The slide-out then just moves in.
We have a foam cover over the mattress and the "break" doesn't intrude.
2.Unfortunately, to access the under the bed storage area from the inside, you have to remove the bedding and mattress because the "bed board folds forward,ie; the hinge is at the foot of the bed.- I installed a fold down "cupboard-type" door on the passenger side of the bed, put a shallow laundry basket under the bed and that is the hamper for the soiled clothing.
3.In our three years of owning the Navion, we have used only a small ceramic heater to take the dampness out of the morning air. It warms the unit up very quickly.
Ours only has a furnace, but the few times I have "tested" it, I found the fan to be noisy.
