Did you disconnect the supply hose to the fridge? There is usually a small ball valve right where the supply hose attaches that you turn 90 degrees with a screwdriver to allow gas to the fridge.
You only have a 1000 Watt inverter - probably doesn't supply all the outlets, maybe just entertainment outlets.
You also have a Energy Management System without display that may disconnect some electrical loads in favor of others.

If it is new and you have never run it on gas, yes there is a valve that needs to be opened. Trace the gas line in and you should see a small valve.
This is how refrigerators are shipped to the coach builders. Mine was like that when I bought it and it nearly ruined my first trip.
