Question Resetting ABS error codes

I have a 2007 Winnebago Voyage 33V, W20 chassis. Yes, with the famous recalled but not fixed brakes. One wheel overheated and I started to get an ABS light on. Took it to a service center and Workhorse would not repair it because it was working OK at the time.

Rather than spend a lot of time and money, I decided to replace the ABS sensor myself. The is the second incident so I know what happens to the sensors. I replaced it with a new sensor but the light is still on. Is there something special I have to do to clear/reset the error code? I have read where driving a mile or more may clear it, is this true?

I should have posted this on the Workhorse forum. Sorry. I will leave it here, I do not want to double post.

I recomend you clean and re-seat the other 3 sensors, one of them may have an issue. Mine seem to grime-up every couple of years.

The light/code should clear itself within a mile or two.

I believe there is an ABS how-to post somewhere on the workhorse forum.

Driving a few miles cleared the code. It is nice not having to worry about the ABS brakes.
