Rusty Wheels and after

We have a new 2014 Journey and I have always enjoyed polishing up my wheels. If you look around the lug nut covers and the hub caps you can see the start of a problem. I pulled mine off and as you can see the rust needs to be cleaned or it will cause a big problem down the road. I also took what the kids call "a selffie"

Jim Bob, I just wipe the lug nuts and wheel area with a rag with some WD40 on it. Do not need a lot. I do not believe long term it will be a problem unless you drive on a lot of salted roads. Enjoy your new unit.
