I’ve just purchased a 2013 Winnebago journey 36m. It only has 8400 miles on it believe it or not. Was driven a few hundred miles about 6 months ago. 240 hrs on generator. Freightliner chassis with Cummins engine and allison transmission. Bought from the original owners estate. No records. Has new tires and batteries. It isn’t my first class A. I realize the lack of use, low mileage may well not be a good thing, but I’m asking for locations of reputable quality trustworthy service locations to get fluids, hoses, belts, replaced. Other systems checked. I live in claxton, ga, about 50 miles west of Savannah, so keep the recommendations within a few hundred miles please. Also any beneficial forums for Winnebago owners?

The Freightliner factory service center in Gaffney SC would be the very best. It's about 275 miles from your approximate location.

I wouldn't necessarily take it to a Frieghtliner shop. Their shop rates are over the top. You might call some local RV parks, if there are any, and ask for recommendations. You might also look in your area for a local heavy diesel mechanic shop that fixes everything from forklifts to over the road trucks you should be able to find a local mechanic.

You might try (if any) shops that do maintenance on tour busses. I know here in Branson the shop deals mostly in tour busses but does excellent job on RV's.

The winnebago foum is really good

Here is the winnebago owners page. There is a ton of information here

Good Luck

That's our coach! We love it. Write me if you have any questions or want an tips.

We go to FCCC in Gaffney if we are in the area for PM. We are actually driving there tomorrow for a Wednesday apt. The customer service is excellent and we have never had any issues after a service. We have them do the generator too. They have electric sites, a dump station and water, a really nice waiting area. They have always been on time and on budget. Best to book your service early they can be busy.

Their rates are much better than NIRVC which is an excellent place for service but we only use them for warranty work because of their prices. They are comparable to Cummins shops which are our second choice.

Your generator hours are a little low. You should run you genset 2 hours every month at 50% power to keep it in top shape.

Same with the coach. It should hit the road at 60MPH for 2 hours once a month if you want to have the most trouble free experience. Before we went full time taking the coach out for it's monthly trip was a blast. Once we drove to a Camping world just to get wiper blades ;-)
2013 Winnebago Journey 36M DP. Full time since 2015. 1987 FJ60 Flat Towed, FAILING 2000W of GRAPE Solar, 800AH LifeBlue LiFePO4 batteries (excellent), SMI Toad Brakes.
