Does the drivers seat turn around to face the living-room area?

It should, mine does and any of the others that I've seen do. It's a little tricky getting the left arm past the steering wheel but it's doable. Maybe someone with an actual 36Z will chime in on this.

My sightseer 35G does. I have to admit that it is not easy. Make sure you adjust your steering wheel all the way up, then move the seat all the way back. Make sure the left arm rest is down and you should be able to rotate the seat, you might have to move the seat back and forth a bit to et it to turn, but it does rotate. Good luck!
