Slide issue

Just came home from a trip and the kitchen slide on my 34T will move about 5" and stop and I release the switch and hit it again and it does the same thing till it is all the way out or in. Worked fine when we got there and did it as when we left. Is this out of sync or some other issue?

2X. Low battery volts can cause , amp draw of electric motors to spike and trip self resetting circuit breakers .
Binding of the slide can do the same .( trip the circuit breaker )

Info on your RVs wiring available at this link.
Look through the wiring , for a slide control module or circuit breaker , some slide control modules have circuit breakers built in , other have adjustments for this situation.

The MH is running and the battery gauge shows 13V the other slide works fine. Could it be a ground issue and if so where is it?

Hi
This is a just a thought recheck your level when operating the slide also I run my engine to help with power supply, I've readjusted my slide over the years as I had found a manufactures design problem that allowed the slide support bracket to drop on one side. That's another story point is coach level /out of level can twist the frame a little and cause that very problem, I on occasion assist the lagging side by pulling as it comes in this isn't a fix mine does it on odd occasions and I just deal with as and when needed. FYI also when coach slide is in go outside look at your paint lines they should match perfectly if you notice they don't line up your slide may need adjusting food for thought.
Hope this helps.
Kindest Regards

Ok, went out to check and it ran ok, so now I am really baffled. Could it be a loose wire , connection or ???.

Hi
Of course loose wire's can cause all sorts of problems I deal with that all the time in my world of machine tools, other than going through every possible connection / drive motor brushes and on and on your going to chase your tail and go crazy. Based on your Initial remarks about the slide sticking or dragging one side and going out of line I still think levelling is the biggest issue you could play around with that in as much to see if it fails more when out of level, as I said my coach does the same thing on occasion and I give it assistance as previously mentioned. My thoughts are if it was a loose wire when it failed and you haven't moved at that point it probably would fail to go out as well given a loss of contact at that point, once it goes out of alignment a certain amount for safety the in action stops to prevent a major failure but the out allows it to reset I'm not an expert on that but that's been my experience.
Hope this helps

Ok Came back from a short trip and it did it again, I am getting 1 green and 4 red which indicates the motor or wire. Where is the motor and these slides? Also when I use a level on the floor or counter it is a little of so I am going to re calibrate that tomorrow and maybe try a re sync on the slide. Any other ideas before I have to call the pros?

2015 means you've got the Lippert slide mechanism, which is trouble prone. I'd call WBGO at 800.537-1885 and see if they can help. They've had LOTS of experience with this mechanism.

MJ6599 -

Winnebago switched from the Lippert to a different slide mechanism during the 2015 model year. As noted in earlier posts, the Lippert has many known issues. If WBGO support can't help, you might try "RV Dr" out of Loveland. They are a mobile service and have worked on my Lippert slides in the same model and year.

The slide is a Power Gear slim rack. Did they have to replace the motor?

it doesnt matter which electrical assembly you are talking about, i have found 90 percent
of all intermittent operation is caused by corroded, or loose connections. mostly grounds.

Talked to Lippert and they told me switch motor 1 and motor2 if the problem repeats but with 2 green 4 red then its the motor. Si with that being done it is the motor now do you pull these form the outside or in? And it appears these motors are about $500.
