Slide Lubrication??

Me again. 2016 forza 36G, 3 slides. Very noisy slide operation. What, or where , do you lubricate; and what do you lube with??? Help, the squeecky Muffin Man. All three slides are noisy, but the big driver side slide is the worst.

White lithium gease

White Lithium Grease - spray can. Don't forget to clean your rails and make sure to spray the bottom of them also. If electric, spray worm gear.

I use slip plate which is a dry black graphite, spray on. Does not attract dust like a grease will.

Our coach has 2 of the Lippert (LCI) slides - they recommend CRC Lube with Teflon (WD-40 also has a similar teflon lube). Their website has some video guidance.

Our FWS is Power Gear - I use the same lube on the rollers and gears of the three rams. I think its important to use a dry lube so you don't attract dirt/debris.

When our slide was converted from the original Schwintek to the upgraded Powergear designed mechanism. The factory tech told us no lube of any kind on it. You have the same mechanism on the Forza. Be happy it works, ignore the noise. It only lasts a short time.

Anything oily or greasy will attract road dirt and grime, when combined they make a crude grinding compound.
