Slide motor or gear box parts

2011 Journey 40U-Driver side bdrm slide comes in a few inches & then grinds. I suspect a "sprocket" in the gear box.
A parts dealer in Forest City wants $1492.00 for motor/gearbox combo.(yikes)
Anyone know of a better solution? PN#1010000994
Thanks

You might look at the gear teeth the drives the rail. My full wall slide broke a tooth on the front rail. The factory replaced the whole rail/motor assembly. About $1300.00. They said some dealers replace only the gear, but their experience has been it fails again soon.

It's under the bed. The gear on the rail looks fine, it sounds like a gear in the gear box or on the motor.

Update

I removed the motor & opened up the gearbox. Gears all look good, a bearing or bushing came apart on one of the gears allowing it to jam when operating .
Just ordered the new moor/gearbox from Lippert.
Ouch
