slide seal issues

I have a new to me 2005 winebago journey 39k with 3 slides. the kitchen slide top seal seems to be about 3-4 inches short of the total distance it needs to cover. like it shrank... (don't see how that can happen) has anyone experienced this? any suggestions? I tried to "stretch" it to cover but that doesn't seem to e working.

thanks in advance for any help or suggestions you can provide.

As said they do shrink, but that seems to be a lot. You can call Lichtsinn and they most likely will be able to give you the part number or the length the seal should be.
https://www.lichtsinn.com/

One of the links here should also lead you to the part number

https://winnebago.com/owners/owner-resources

Third you could get in touch with Steel Rubber and order new seals.

I don't know where you are located but I had the seals on the passenger slide replaced last year at the factory service center in Forest City. $750.
