Slide Switches Not Always Working

Hello everyone,
I’m having a problem with both my HWH slides on a 2005 Winnebago Journey 34H. I have to manipulate the rocker switches up and down (retract/extend) to get them to work. That’s both switches. So far I have been able to extend the slides and retract the slides but it takes a long time each time. I've check the fuses and the fluid level which are both OK. Would both switches go bad at the same time? I’m afraid I’m not going to be able to retract them soon. Any help would be appreciated.

Check all wire connections behind the switch, on both sides of the fuse connector and the wire nuts attaching to the motor. Sounds

Check all wire connections behind the switch, on both sides of the fuse connector and the wire nuts attaching to the motor. Sounds like a loose connection or bed intermittent ground.

Do you have the same behavior if the engine is running?

I used to have a problem getting my bedroom slide to move ... my work around was to start the engine or to press the switch at the same time as the front slide was in motion.

After I installed a Trick-L-Start the problem has pretty much gone away ... I think voltage on the chassis batteries was the problem ... somehow it was too low to activate a solenoid.

I will be checking the wires at the motor today. How does the bedroom switch come out? It's mounted on the built in TV cabinet and I can't see any screws. I would have to remove the TV to get to the back of the switch.
Thanks for the help.

I'll try pressing the bedroom switch while the living room slide is in motion and see if that works. I already have a Trickle start on my start batteries. Thanks for the help.
