Slide Toppers, check the mounting screws
I always learn something while camping. I was looking at the bedroom slide topper and noticed that the rear roller had friction marks and then I saw the paint on the slide, under the roller, had been polished off. I also noticed that the four sheet metal screws holding the topper mounting plate to the slide were loose. I tightened the screws and actually pulled the roller back in to place, about 1/4 inch from the surface of the slide.
A friend has a 36ft Journey and his slide plates must have been loose and when he extended his slide the roller bound and pulled the two mounting arms up and bent the roller. The rv dealer repaired it and he was good to go. His next outting it happened again. This time a rv dealer in OR told him about a spacer (moulded piece about 1/2 inch) that fit under the slide mounting. This brought the roller about 1/2 inch further away from the slide.
Save a repair bill; check those slide toppers. I have tightened those screws before but they do loosen up.
