Small cracks in Clear Coat

Any idea for what causes this and tips on a possible fix? It appears to be only on the large slide on my 2005 Winnebago Adventurer 38N.

Do an internet search on repairing rv clearcoat cracks and find articles and threads like these:

I was told the crazing is usually caused by the sun. I have had a few areas repaired at a paint shop (CDI in Forest City) and those areas are still ok, but I have more now other places. I was also told it more often appears on darker paint but can occur anywhere. If you are handy I'm sure you could repair yourself.

Camp CA links are very helpful.

I did do a search, a few things popped up that I read. I just thought I would ask the good members of the Winnebago owners forum what their experience was if applicable. I will take it to a local shop I deal with when I pick up the RV next week.

I’ve been in the autobody business for over 40 years and fiberglass/paint/sun is not a good combo. Lay your hand on a painted surface in the sun and you will get the idea. That’s why full body paint is pretty but not a great option if your coach spends a lot of time outside. It can be sanded down, re-cleared if it is not metalic. Metalic paint will change color if sanded so it will need to be painted then cleared.

Why is paint & clear on a MH diffrrent than on an auto?
Even Vetts are fiberglass based and many auto panels these days are plastic so It can't be heat dissipation of metal panels??
There are also some boats that get painted over fiberglass & gel coat. They certainly see there share if sunshine.
