So much to learn, so little time Part 3

2011 Winnebago Tour

Running water from fresh water tank.

Tank is full, water pump light in the basement water area is green, both water pump switches in the bathrooms are green and still no running water.

Also the display on the gauge that tells us our levels says water pump on.

What am I missing?

use multimeter to check connection power water pump. No power then bad pump, power then bad fuse or other problem.

If you have a pick up hose/winterizing hose coming off your pump make sure the valve that controls it is closed.

If you hear the pump running - and still no flow - check to see if your 'fill valve' is in the 'normal' position vice 'fill' position. If that doesn't fix it - and pump is running - you could have a bad pump head.

Do you know where the pump would be located in a 2011 Tour? The manual says passenger side near front but I don't see it.

Got it!!

Found the pump, 2nd door back on the drivers side with the propane tank. In there was a value in the closed position. Opened it up and voila, we now have water.

I don't know Allan - but let's try this: find the water tank and look nearby (and listen: if the pump is not working just have someone cycle the switch off and on while you listen). The pump could be behind a small removable panel - there may be some valves that help with winterizing the coach, and/or something that looks like a clear poly drain line (with or without a cap on the end).

The 13/14/15 Tour/Ellipse pump is located in a passenger side compartment behind the large slide out compartment. It's mounted above and to the outboard side of the water tank.
