Stabilizers for Class A Winnebago

Hello,

New member here. I have a Winnebago WFV 26M Intent Class A 27 foot, and wondering if anyone has added stabilizers to help with swaying and to help with ride on our awful South Carolina roads.

Is it on a Ford or Chevy chassis?

Welcome to iRV2.

As Ken has indicated , giving members all your coach's info ( chassis manufacturer and year ) is very important to getting good advice .

Please remember we're not there; seeing what your seeing ; you have to tell us everything.

The Intent is built on the F53 chassis. I recommend reading the posts in the F53 discussion group on this forum. Pay special attention to the sticky post about CHF (Cheap Handling Fix). There are lots of solutions including the CHF that will help with the sway. New sway bars, and Sumo Springs are 2 of the more popular solutions. As for the rough ride on SC roads, that is a tall order. There are some solutions that cost BIG $$ ($10+k) but even those may not help with the SC roads. There is a reason that everyone rides in the left lane on I-95 driving through SC.

I have a 1995 Itasca diesel pusher and I added a stabilizer. It helped tremendously. It wasn't cheep though.
