I am going to install a Safe T Plus steering control unit on my '07 Meridian 36. I need to order the unit but don't have access to the MH right now. Need to know if the diameter of the control arm is 11/4" or 11/2". Can't find the info in any pubs. or on the FL site. Anybody know?

I have the safe t steer but cannot remember which size I ordered. I can measure my tie rod for you but not sure it will be the same as yours.

You can call the 1-800 Freightliner number, give them the last 6 numbers in your chassis VIN and they can pretty much tell you about every part used on the chassis.

Thanks for the reply and the offer. My unit is about an hour away and I was trying to get the parts ordered before Saturday. I will try FL, as you suggest.
