steering knuckle / steering pot

I looked high & low here & other blogs but can't find a replacement part. Recently I had new front tires, alighnment & steering gearbox replaced but my 1978 Winnebago Chieftain M400 chassis steering but still drifts like crazy even at low speeds so I took it to another alighnment shop & they said it was the "Steering Pot Coupler U-Joint" & that that part is now obsolete. What else can I do? The dealership also said that the part was obsolete. Some also call this a Steering Pot & or a steering knuckle. Its just above the steering gearbox & looks like an upside down bell. Wish I could show pics of it here or I could send pics to your email address.

Found these pictures on AutoZone site , is this the steering coupler your after?
Housing and the repair kit listed separately.


Used to replace these by the dozens , till Dodge quit using them , on the replacements , we would drill and tap the housing and install a grease fitting to force the water out , they weren't particularly water proof.
Looked the part up for a 79 W150, the splines onto the steering box might be different , but it looks like someone is still producing them.

Sorry I couldn't post pics, I dont know how. The bell looks right but the explosion view of the internal parts from the manual look different. I'll take it apart & see if this will work though. In another post a guy had this same problem & ended up changing to a gearbox manufactured differently with a coupler that would adapt. We'll see.
