My ignition switch is becoming hard to turn the key. If I fool with the outside bezel I can get an easy turn of the key...Can I spray silicone into the key chamber and around the edge of the turning assembly without doing some electrical harm? thanks....RKL

Should be no problem. Best would be powdered graphite. It normally comes in a little tube, and is great lock/key switch lube.

WD 40 works good also. I used to use it in my boat when the switch would start to get sticky. Won't hurt the electrical. Just a small squirt in the key slot and watch it doesn't drip on your floor.
