I have had the coach in to two seperate techs to fix an issue with the coach shift handle. WHen I try and start the coach with shift handle in neutral and brake set nothing happens, I giggle the shift handle and eventually get it to turn over when I push the shift handle just slightly out of neutral. The lastest from the techs is one says perhaps a whole new shift cable and another says it is prob simply a worn pin/linkage where the cable connects at the tranny, has anyone seen this before, 2000 Journey DP Freightliner with CUmmins.

I went a year thinking I had the same problem on our 275 cummins, but what it actually was was the solonoid on the starter. Replaced it, and have not had the problem since.
