Storage--Air Bags and Jacks

Just put my 2005 Vectra in storage. I deflated the air bags and did not put down the Jacks. Did I do it right? I cover the vehicle and the weather here is average, temp high 80 and low 30. We have rain but no snow.

When I used to store mine, I always put the jacks down (the bags deflate when I initiate leveling). That is the recommendation of my jack mfg, HWH, as it takes some weight off the tires. Now that are fulltimers, we essentially do the same thing as we are parked far more than we are driving, and when parked the jacks are down.

I rent a garage with a concrete floor to store our Journey.

When it is in storage I drive it onto pieces of scrap OSB under all 6 tires ... I deflate the bags and lower all four jacks until I feel the coach starting to lift a little (probably an inch or two)

So my coach is on the jacks essentially all the time that I am not driving it.

This is how I do it ... I don't think there is a right or wrong way to store your coach in terms of the jacks being down or up ...
