I find that when I take my MH out in the colder weather, that there are cold areas around each of the windows.

I only have single pane glass and it seems that the cold just comes right through.

What do others do to deal with this problem?

We have double pane windows but when we travel in freezing or below temps we still loose lots of heat through the windows. We have purchased three fan-fold insulated "winshield sun shades" that cover three of our windows.

I have made U shaped holders that fit under a couple of the screws on the bottom ... at night we open the sun shades and slip them up behind the day/night shades ... then pull the shades down ... that helps with those three windows.

We hang a large beach towel over the bedroom window and fasten it up with clothespins ...

We bring the front slide in when we go to bed to reduce the volume of the space that needs to be heated

We do the same as SkiGramp, slide in, blanket over bedroom windows, blanket over dash.

We have also put a blanket across the front cab area holding to cabinets. We can still see the tv, but it really helps. The cabs are so poorly insulated.

Also we have put little box heaters in the cargo bay. It really helps on the floors.

We also have heated mattress pads on the bed. We can turn the heat way down and that really helps at night.
