I have two thermostats one in bedroom and one in the hallway.
The one in the bedroom senses the room temp at the thermostat on the wall.
The one in the hall also senses the temp at the thermostat mounted in the hall.
Every thing works correctly until you close the door the heat and or air will not turn on because the hall is warm. You would think the sensor would be in the
front room.Been that way since new but I didn't notice until recently. Is this normal?

You mean it has two thermostats for one furnace?

the one in the bedroom is AC only

the one in the hall is AC and heat. The one in the hall works until I close the

door to the living room area, Then the living room gets cold but the heat does

come on until I open the door and let the cool air back in to the hall. Shouldn't

the sensor be in the living room?

Short of moving the thermostat, guess your only option is to leave the livingroom / hallway door open.

The style thermostat you have does not use a remote sensor. It's the same style we had in our previous adventurer.

Our current adventurer has a different style thermostat that does use remote sensors. Rather than 2 thermostats our coach has a single thermostat in the hall with 2 zones. There is a remote sensor in the living area for zone 1 and another in the bedroom for zone 2.

We have 2 AC/heat pumps. Both zones are available when using the either AC or the heat pumps. However when using the gas furnace only zone 1 is active. Essentially all that means is that only the temperature in the living area has to meet the thermostat setting to turn on or off the gas furnace.

It has the same thermostat and sensors as our second generation 2013 model. The thermostat is pictured on page 3. The remote sensor for the living area is on the kitchen island pictured on page 5. The 2013 and 2014 brochures were not updated to show the correct thermostat and remote sensors.

About the only way I know of to measure the temperature in the living area of your coach would be to change out the thermostat and add remote sensors. I'm not sure it would be cost effective
