Thermostatic Switch Models

Does anyone know if an A46-3122-030 will work as suitable replacement for an A46-3122-000? The -030 seems to be more readily available than the -000 and I need to replace mine since the capillary tube corroded and broke away from the switch.

Also, my compressor won’t kick on, I’m assuming because of the issue mentioned above, does that sound right?

The switch is in the power circuit for the compressor clutch , along with the refrigerant pressure switch ; issues with either will shut the system down.

Winnebago purchases the dash unit kits , do you see a name anywhere on the housing ( Evans?Tempcon ) ?

Yes both of those freeze stats have the same opreating range. If the capilary tube is broken, then the operating circuit is open preventing the compressor from running. You can jumper that switch to confirm the circuit.

Much of the time those last numbers just refer to incidental upgrades to a part. A lot of the time when the last ones are 000 they are a part used in oem production. But, not always.
