What do you do when you get a flat on a Harley out on the road?

My Winnie came with a spare tire and wheel in it's own little compartment in the bedroom slide. Glad I have it, but pray I don't need it. My question is, because it's mounted in an enclosed compartment and never sees daylight (and UV rays) is it's "shelf-life" limited to the same 5 years as my other tires?
