Toad charge line

On our way back home from a 3-1/2 month volunteer stint the battery in the toad died. The Patriot brake box remote notified me of the problem. The MH is a 2013 Sunstar 35F. The toad is a 2013 Ford C-Max hybrid. We have towed this car all over and, after an initial issue with the charge line being incorrectly connected to the wrong terminal, has been trouble free. Upon arrival at home I looked to see if there were any issues with the charge line itself. I discovered the inline 10 amp fuse was blown. The only change I had made prior to this trip was to make sure the connections between the RV and toad were good. I added some dielectric grease to the umbilical cord and 6 pin plug on the toad end.

I think the pin at the 1 o'clock position on the MH's 7 pin receptacle is the 12V power source? Also, which fuse on the F-53 chassis is the one for that connection?

Any thoughts or comments are greatly appreciated.

Did it work after replacing the blown fuse?
If so that was your problem.

Don't know if it is working. My son will bring the multi meter over to the storage place where we keep the MH to check on the output at the 7 pin.

I suggest replacing the fuse with an auto reset circuit breaker. It will trip if a short or high current differential occurs between the two batteries. It will then reset and continue to pass current between the batteries. They are available at most auto parts stores, Amazon, Ebay, etc. 10 to 20 amps aught to give plenty of protection.
