Tour 42AD Porch Awning

Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with their porch awning not retracting or not extending? Recently I have been having issues with my Porch Awning. Sometimes it will not extend and after playing with the switches for a while it will finally go out. On other occasions when extended it will not retract. Again by playing with the switches I finally get it to move. I am pretty sure its not a power or switch issue and it seems like it is related to possibly a limit switch of some sort. The reason I say that is it started when I interrupted the auto deploy/retract sequence by hitting the switch to get some rain water off the awning before it fully retracted and soaked the side of the coach.

1. Does anyone know if the Awning has an extend and retract limit switch?
2. If it does is there something I can do to reestablish the proper limits?
3. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Any help would be appreciated. Last thing I want to do is get stuck with the awning deployed somewhere!

Tom

I have found that when my awning will not retract I need to pull down on the arm and release while pushing the retract button...it goes in every time. Not sure what th issue is...

My awing didn't come in after washing the motorhome and awning. I "bounced" it and has worked fine since. Not sure why this worked but glad it did.
