Transmission Fluid Level

Had my oil and transmission fluid changed in my 2002 Journey this weekend and learned a pretty neat trick to determine transmission fluid level.

With the engine running, press the up and down arrows on the gear shifter at the same time then release.
If the reading is 7 or below you will need to idle for a while with the transmission in "drive" and the air brake on

Once the transmission fluid is warm enough, the display will count down from 8 to 1. At that point the display will show "OL OK" if your level is good or "OL LO #" with the # being the total quarts low.

Thought I'd pass this along.
