Travato LP gauge

There was a thread like this about a year ago but no solution was suggested. I have a 2015 Travato. At one point the gauge on the interior showed empty although I had just filled the tank. I unplugged the wire at the tank and plugged it back in. The gauge worked fine I guess. Recently I knew I had use quite a bit of gas but the gauge always read full. From the responses in the past post there doesn't seem to be a fix.
I have looked at some of the after marked gauges etc. Has anyone tried any of these and do you recommend one or the other.

Just a reminder, there is a recall on one of the LP gas hoses. Have your dealer check it out.

An LP, tank gauge depends on an internal float and gear driven magnet, ( magnetic field) to pass, through the tank metal to the sensor that is external.
Unlike a gas or diesel tank where the sensor is attached directly to the float, inside the tank. The accuracy of the LP gauge can be effected by the condition of the sensor ground to the tank and the tanks ground to the frame.
The sensor is set to read full when the tank is approx 80% full of liquid and LP is temperature sensitive. If the person filling the tank doesn't shut off the pump as soon as liquid comes out the spit valve and you filled in the morning when the LP was cool , you will use a lot of LP before the gauge starts to drop off the full mark.
JMHO: I'd be most concerned about the gauge accuracy at the 1/4 mark than at the full.
