Tree Damaged Roof Radious - 2004 Sightseer

Neighboor's tree fell and one branch struck the roof to sidewall radious splitting the fiberglass.

Started working with insurance and assessor will be coming for a look Wednesday.

In parallel, I contacted Winnebago Customer Relations and described the issue. I was told that this is commonly repaired and there is a "Kit" and procedure that Winnebago can provide to my local dealer.

As described, the entire radious front to back is cut out and replaced with a new strip of fiberglass which is bonded to the flat part of the roof. The only indication of the repair will be a small step where the two fiberglass sheets overlap.

Trying to get a little knowledge before meeting with the insurance adjuster I tried to do some research at a couple of repair shops. I would like to get a rough cost estimate for the repair to be armed and ready.

Called the closest Winnebago dealer service and they don't seem to be aware of this repair "kit". I sent them pictures and they are going to contact Winnebago direct.

Called the next closest dealer and was told that they have replaced many Winnebago roofs, but never used this "Kit" to repair the radioused section

Has anyone had this repair done that can help me understand cost, look and longevity. I don't want this to affect resale value with some cobbled up patch job.
