I have 04 Vecctra with 350ISC Cuminns. On the backup monitor with the TripTek system on I have a symbol lighted that looks like it might be an engin or a gas can, hard to tell exactly what the symbol is. Just had the oil changed and complete service done. The symbol came on during my last trip.

ANY IDEAS OR SUGGESTIONS ???

On my 2004 Journey with the same TripTek set up the little oil can is a maintenance reminder, so don't panic. It is just a set point and not a warning device. When you start the engine you will get the check list, one of the items will show as a maintenance question. Try reset and see what happens. I don't have my manual handy.

Agree with JP - There are scads of information on the TDrip Teck but I always have to get the manual and read how to get through all the programs. I too paniced when the oil can showed up while driving down a rainy 2 lane road in eastern Idaho, thought sure I was low on oil. But at exactly 6,000 miles it was just a reminder. When you get to the maintenance program you can set whatever parameters you want for maintenace reminders. Good Luck, its sure too much to remember without the manual.
