Not sure if this is the right place to post but I'll give it a try.

My 2000 Winnebago Adventurer 35U has the above in it for the AC and heat pumps. over last tow trips they have stop working the fisrt time my DW was running the heat pumps then plug in the toster and the EMS tried to shut things off but blew a fuse that is located behined a door on the trueair unit. Took Winne to shop and they check out unit and found that it was just the fuse and replaced it. the next trip 2 days after fix running heat pumps again just to keep winne comfy went to bed got up in morning and unit was cold check pumps and not working opened up the trueair unit and found that the fuse popped again after they had worked fine over the friday and saterday this being sunday made it hard to get things. Looking at fuse I found that it was just a 5 amp fuse is this the right amp fuse for the trueair unit? I was not able to find any 5 amp fuses but was able to find a 6 amp one would the 6 amp be ok I have no paper work on the trueair unit in my big black bag so have no way of looking up this myself

thanks all for your help and if someone out their with a 2000 adventurer 35U with the trueair paper work if you can make copy and send it to me or better yet PDF it to me I would be very greatful to you.

Thanks again
Mark

mark, just my 2 cents, but I would NOT use a 6A fuse if the spec called for 5 amps. Likely the 5 amps is a safety threshold value for another electronic component, and if current were exceeded, it might be toast. You might try writing an e-mail to Owner Relations ("OR@winnebagoind.com")... they're quite helpful and can might give you some troubleshooting tips to resolve the problem,.

I checked the schematics I have for both the 6535 & 6536 series & the only fuse I saw was for the outdoor blower motor, hi speed line.

The schematic does not indicate amperage, but the unit dataplate shows outdoor blower motor FLA to be 2.8 amps.

I'd check the current draw for the outdoor blower motor. The bearings may be going bad or the run capacitor may be going bad.
