UFO TV Replacement

I have a 2008 UFO Adventurer (Rear Gas Engine) and replaced my old Tube TV with a Samsung Electronics UN40MU7000 40-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2017 Model) and a SAMSUNG 2.1 sound bar HW-KM45 with Wireless Subwoofer. The opening for the TV is 36 ¼ x 22 ½. The TV is 12 x 35.6 x 21 which leaves about ½ inch on each side and 2 ½ inches under it which is perfect for the sound bar. The sound bar is 2.1 inches H x 35.79 inches W x 2.75 inches deep, when in place it has a ¼ inch open space on each end. The sound bar fits perfectly under the TV.

I replaced my old Surround Sound with a used Sony DVD Blu-ray 5.1Ch Home Theater Receiver HBD-E370. The surround sound works great with the TV sound and DVD. To make the TV sound come out of the DVD to the surround sound, I connected a Digital Out cable to the Digital in on the back of the DVD. Works Great!

Hi Old Skool,

How did you secure the TV or did you leave it free standing?

Looks good. Once I get the tv out I will figure out a plan.

I showed my wife this and she liked your work.

Is there a noticeable difference with the 5.1 stereo?

Yes, I used it all weekend and the sound was great. When watching the TV (Antenna Only) the voice came from the TV and small sounds came from all other speakers (Surround Sound). Also watching a DVD the Surround Sound was (Really Great). I just like using the system the RV came with, the 5.1 DVD player allows me to use it.
