Unknown Noise - Vacuum Leak?

I have a 2001 Journey on a FL chassis and have noticed a strange whirring noise under the front hood. It is at the right side of the compartment and not the vacuum leak I fixed on the left side of the same compartment.

When I turn on the vent fan the noise is not made but if I shut off the fan it whirs intermittently until I turn the vent fan on again. What could this sound be?

I don't know, but if you find out, let me know. I have the same sound. On mine it eventually goes away. I normally turn on the vent fan to stop (or at least cover) the other noise. - Michael
