We have a 2006 Winnebago Journey 36 footer and it has a full size RV couch on one side and a chair and little ottoman on the other side. Along with the chair and ottoman is a wooden table that is pretty neat. It folds up flat and when taken out can be used as a laptop table or something. Problem is, nobody likes to sit in the rocker chair so its wasted space. We would love to take the chair and table (if necessary) out and put in a little love seat. Has anyone done this on their rig?
I am pretty sure the Journey has a loveseat as an alternative to the chair so I think it fits. As I said, if we need to sacrafice the table, we will.
Just wondering if anyone has done this. Also, any recommendations on where to buy the loveseat would be great. Might have it installed professionally when we take out the big "tube" TV and upgrade to an LCD but need to know pricing on the loveseat so we dont get ripped.
As always, thanks for any advise or assistance. Its a real comfort to know people are willing to help by sharing their expereinces. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I was faced with the same problem which was solved by bolting down a seat pedastal with a captains chair and seat belts. We gained an extra riding position and kept the flip up table. It is the most popular seat in the house.
The Banquette is the optional 40" loveseat that goes there and you may want to check out Winnies pricing on this. After market can go $500 to $2,000.
