Velvac Top-Hat Add-on Convex Mirrors

Has anyone added these convex mirrors to the top of existing mirrors? If so did it help with blinds spots. Thanks

My MH came with these mounted on the bottom. My mirrors hang from the top basically upside down. I use these mirrors more than my flat ones actually because I get glare on the flat surface. They are great for seeing traffic broadside and for backing. If I did not have them I would get them since I know how effective they have been for me.

Velvac add-on mirrors

My mirrors have the convex mirror on the bottom, but the ones I am talking about you had to the top of the flat mirror so you have convex mirrors top and bottom.

I meant you attach them to the top of the flat mirror.

Yes, I added them to my Thor Challenger. They make a surprising difference. I set the bottom and top convex mirrors at slightly different angles so I have a very wide field of view, and have eliminated a blind spot I didn't even know existed.

I added one on the drivers side and it helped a lot. My bottom convex mirror was partialy blocked by a home made screen that I installed with a pass thru for tolls etc. Now I can see very close to the coach and more distant with the topper. Glad I did it.
